Job summary

Miller Transportation Group is seeking a CDL A Driver for our Amsterdam, NY location. You will start at 3:00 AM, handle 1–3 grocery store stops daily, and use an electric pallet jack to unload pallets at the dock.

Qualifications

• CDL A license with minimum 2 years of professional driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to grocery stores in Upstate NY (1–3 stops daily).
• Unload pallets using pallet jack and complete required paperwork.
• Maintain accurate logs and adhere to route schedules.

Schedule

• Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday are working days
• 3:00 AM Start Time

Drivers will deliver to grocery stores (1-3 stops daily) in the Upstate NY area and will use electric pallet jack to unload pallets onto dock, complete paperwork, and move onto the next stop. Trailers are pre-loaded to start the shift so there is very light touch using the electric pallet jack at each stop and very occasionally a hand cart when necessary.

Requirements

• CDL A with minimum of two (2) or more years of professional driving experience
• Clean Driving Record
• Ability to operate an electric pallet jack for drops
• Ability to work Monday, Thursday, Friday Saturday (10-12 Hours Daily)
• Ability to arrive regularly for a 3:00 AM Start Time
• Ability to make 1 - 3 stops/drops daily depending on route
