Job summary

BioTrans LLC is hiring two part-time Delivery Drivers for the Little Ferry, NJ location. Shifts start early in the morning, with routes including in-state and out-of-state driving, city routes, and strict time schedules.

Drivers must be at least 21, hold a valid license, and maintain a clean driving record. A background check is required, and familiarity with smartphones and our workflow apps is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Valid driver's license/ Real ID.
• Acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes).
• Background check required.
• Ability to use smartphones and willingness to learn our company’s workflow-related applications.
• Experience driving cargo vans and box trucks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight utilizing a small box truck or cargo van.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time sensitive schedules that require detailed attention.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to navigate surrounding areas using GPS and comfortable with scanning devices.
• Comfortable climbing into and out of vehicles repeatedly with no difficulties.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; evaluate and report issues through the appropriate parties (dispatch/ managers).
• Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles.

BioTrans LLC is a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology and infrastructure for the life sciences industry.

Position Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday route driving early morning start times as early as 2:30 am. In state and out of state driving including city driving.

Position Shift 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday route driving early morning start times as early as 4:00 am. In state and out of state driving including city driving.

Delivery Driver Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
