Miller Transportation Group is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician for Miller Truck Leasing in Amsterdam, NY. Join a long-standing, family-owned company with 100+ years of experience and 8,000+ trucks.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs across a range of vehicles, including refrigeration units. Requirements include prior diesel/heavy equipment experience, a valid CDL (A or B), own tools, and availability for Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a diesel, fleet, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors.
• Valid CDL Class A or B license is required.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on Class 1–8 vehicles and refrigeration units.
• Diagnose and repair engine fault codes using OEM software following warranty procedures.
• Repair/replace brakes, steering, suspension and perform alignments.
• Replace clutches and transmissions.
