Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Supply Chain Category Planner for Home Care on a maternity cover basis at the Amsterdam office. You will drive category strategy, optimise supply chain performance and manage external partners to ensure availability, cost efficiency and superior customer support.

Responsibilities include demand forecasting, spend analysis, stock optimization, risk management, and driving Lean/Six Sigma improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' demonstrable experience in supply chain, category management of FG, components, or similar products.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills; confident using Excel and supply chain systems (SAP/S4, EDI).
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally and managing external partners to deliver availability and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Category strategies aligned with cost, quality, availability and customer experience targets.
• Oversee demand forecasting, demand management and supply performance for your Category.
• Analyse category spends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and optimise stock levels across sites, channels and markets, resolving supply challenges.
• Ensure accurate processing of supply chain transactions within SAP/S4 and EDI integrations.
• Lead risk management efforts with contingency plans to protect supply continuity.
• Track KPIs and report insights to senior stakeholders; shape future strategy.
• Collaborate across teams to support product launches and category changes; drive process improvements.
