Job summary

JD.com is seeking a Transportation Operations Specialist to lead 3PL carrier management, settlements, and KPI-driven performance for our self-operated network and external carriers. You will work with procurement and tendering to optimize partnerships and ensure smooth transitions between carriers.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics with 3+ years in 3PL management, and fluency in English and Chinese. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or higher and a strong network of local carrier

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in logistics/transport.
• 3+ years of job-specific experience in 3PL management.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Establish and optimize the carrier management system for self-operated network and 2B transportation.
• Build a carrier KPI system to monitor fulfillment rate, timeliness and service quality.
• Facilitate transitions between new and existing carriers to ensure business continuity.
• Coordinate with procurement and tendering teams; participate in tender parameter setting and carrier selection.
• Oversee carrier settlements and manage online billing to standardize and streamline processes.
• Coordinate with national fleets to streamline settlement procedures and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with settlement, procurement and tendering teams to optimize settlements and online settlement implementation.
• Organize settlements training sessions for carriers and internal teams.
