Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in the Netherlands seeks a Calibration Engineer to ensure all asset calibration complies with specifications and is completed on schedule. You will maintain calibration records in Maximo and support equipment maintenance and continuous improvement.

The role requires 3–5 years in calibration, GMP/ISO 13485 familiarity, and English proficiency; Dutch is a plus. The position reports to Engineering and supports manufacturing and facilities in Nijmegen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 4–6 years in related fields preferred.
• 3–5 years’ calibration experience with metrology knowledge.
• 3–5 years in medical device/pharma industry; GMP/ISO 13485 preferred.
• Fluent in English; Dutch preferred; ERP/Maximo knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee all assets’ calibration in a timely, compliant manner per specs.
• Develop and maintain master calibration schedule to minimize operational impact.
• Ensure calibration work orders are completed and recorded on time.
• Maintain calibration records in Maximo; calibrate and qualify new equipment.
• Support maintenance, problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with audits and CAPAs related to calibration.
