Job summary

Syntech Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Calibration & Service Technician in Amersfoort, NL. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing precision measurement equipment, performing inspections, and supporting quotations.

The role suits someone with an MBO-level technical qualification, who is precise, proactive and can work with Dutch and English. A varied technical role offers growth within an internationally recognised group.

Qualifications

• MBO-level qualification in a technical discipline (Mechatronics/Electrical/Mechanical) is required.
• Interest in maintenance, repair and measurement technology.
• Precise, structured, service-oriented approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections of calibration equipment.
• Analyse faulty instruments and carry out repairs.
• Maintain and prepare instruments ahead of calibration.
• Support the preparation of service quotations.
• Contribute to an efficient and well-organised workshop.
• Propose improvements to work processes and service activities.

Calibration & Service Technician Role

Working closely with the service team to keep measurement equipment reliable and operational.

Duties will include:

Calibration & Service Technician Profile

• Education: MBO-level qualification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
• Interest: Maintenance, repair and measurement technology
• Work Style: A precise and structured approach to work, with a service-oriented and proactive attitude
• Communication: Good communication skills in both Dutch and English
• Independence: Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your responsibilities
