Job summary
NextEnergy in the Netherlands is seeking a Software Developer to join our Smart Home DevOps team. You will shape design, development, and maintenance of our applications together with colleagues.
You will work on backend integrations with home batteries and smart devices, improve control algorithms, and build internal systems to streamline processes. We value hands-on developers who enjoy taking initiative, work well in a fast-growing startup, and care about sustainable energy and user-friendly
Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend development experience with C#.
- Experience with cloud-based web applications and mobile apps.
- Familiarity with low-code (OutSystems is a plus) or willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Interest in smart home batteries and sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities
- Back end: develop integrations with home batteries and smart devices.
- Algorithms: improve control algorithms for home devices.
- Back office: build internal systems to streamline processes.
- Customer interfaces: enhance the customer app showing energy savings and battery performance.
