Job summary

NextEnergy BV in Utrecht is seeking a Software Developer to help scale our smart home battery platform. You will join the Smart Home DevOps team and shape design, development, and maintenance of applications, collaborating with colleagues to deliver real-world impact.

You bring 5+ years backend C#, cloud web app experience, HTML/CSS/JS, and an interest in sustainable energy. We offer a dynamic startup environment with freedom to take initiative and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

5+ years backend development in C# required.
Experience with cloud web applications and mobile apps preferred.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
Experience with low-code development (OutSystems a plus).
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Back end: Develop integrations with home batteries and smart devices.
Algorithms: Improve control algorithms for batteries and devices.
Back office: Build internal systems to streamline processes.
Customer interfaces: Enhance customer app for energy savings and battery performance.
