iwell is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Battery Controller & Infrastructure team in Utrecht. You will develop safety‑critical C#.NET software that runs on real hardware and also own Linux‑based infrastructure, including Ansible, self‑hosted DevOps, and VPN networking.

The role blends application development with operational engineering, giving you end‑to‑end ownership, thorough documentation, and collaboration with Operations to keep energy systems safe, reliable, and scalable.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with C#.NET development for safety‑critical software.
• Strong Linux, scripting and DevOps exposure.
• Familiarity with Modbus, MQTT and networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the C# application for battery control and safety.
• Own infrastructure end to end and support operations as needed.
• Document work and collaborate across teams to unify app and ops.
