Job summary

ST&T Delft is seeking a Medior Business Development Manager for the Defence & Security sector to bridge technology, stakeholders, and operational needs. You will engage with Defence organisations, research partners, and industry players to identify opportunities and shape deployable solutions for mission-critical environments.

The role requires translating complex, high-tech concepts into practical propositions, building partnerships, and representing the company at industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s level working and thinking ability.
• Experience in Defence & Security sector or comparable environment.
• Strong affinity with high-tech systems and innovation.
• Understanding of Defence-related systems or environments (e.g. C4ISR) is a strong advantage.
• Experience in business development, stakeholder management, or similar roles.

Requirements

Experience & expertise

• Bachelor’s or Master’s level working and thinking ability
• Relevant experience within the Defence & Security sector or a comparable environment
• Strong affinity with high-tech systems and innovation
• Understanding of Defence-related systems or environments (e.g. C4ISR) is a strong advantage
• Experience in business development, stakeholder management, or similar roles

Personal profile

• Strong communicator with the ability to engage at different levels
• Fluent in Dutch and English (both required)
• Commercial mindset with a focus on identifying opportunities and building partnerships
• Strong networking skills and willingness to represent the organisation externally
• Able to translate complex topics into clear and practical solutions
• Interest in working within the Defence domain, with the ability to obtain security clearance (SECRET level)
