Job summary

Nike EHQ in Hilversum seeks a Business Development Manager to protect brand integrity, govern distribution policy, and drive cross-functional strategic initiatives across EMEA. This full-time role is based at Nike’s European Headquarters in Hilversum with a hybrid working model.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Marketplace Integrity and collaborate with sales, legal, and external partners to keep marketplace strategies sharp and compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of relevant work experience (sales, account management and/or retail).
• Tech-savvy Airtable expertise: able to design and develop within Airtable (must).
• Strong communication and storytelling skills for relationship management across teams.
• Solid background in data and project governance; lead projects from design to rollout.
• Growth mindset with accountability and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance and adherence of Nike's selective distribution policy to reinforce a premium marketplace across EMEA.
• Oversee cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with legal frameworks, priorities and consumer trends.
• Plan and supervise partner assessments across Nike’s wholesale portfolio by external consultants.
• Support Marketplace Integrity strategy and initiatives involving selective distribution and grey market management.
• Collaborate with sales, business development, grey market management, legal teams and external vendors.

As a business development manager for Nike EMEA, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a premium and distinct marketplace across the region. Based at the Nike European Headquarters (EHQ) in Hilversum, this full-time position puts you at the center of protecting the brand's ecosystem. You will drive strong governance around Nike’s selective distribution policy, manage cross-functional strategic initiatives and ensure our marketplace remains competitive and aligned with evolving consumer trends.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Policy leadership: Lead the maintenance and adherence of Nike's selective distribution policy to reinforce a distinct, premium multi-brand marketplace across EMEA.
• Strategic business development: Oversee cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with legal frameworks, strategic priorities and evolving consumer trends.
• Partner assessments: Plan and supervise the execution of partner assessments across Nike’s wholesale portfolio by external consultants.
• Marketplace Integrity: Support the overall strategy and initiatives involving both the selective distribution policy and grey market management.
• Collaborative networking: Work closely and build strong relationships with sales, business development, grey market management, legal teams and external vendors.

You will be based at Nike's inspiring European Headquarters (EHQ) in Hilversum, a dynamic campus that reflects the values of the brand. Nike offers a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).
