Job summary

Levy Professionals in Amsterdam is seeking a skilled Business Developer/BA/PM with a focus on Building Management Systems. You will translate business needs into clear user stories and work with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver changes in BMS projects.

This role requires strong communication, stakeholder management and a good grasp of Agile and DevOps practices, with emphasis on HVAC, lighting, security and access systems.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a PM, BA or Business Developer in software for Facility/Building Management.
• Experience with BMS domains such as HVAC, lighting, security cameras, networking and access.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and work within Agile and DevOps environments.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and pragmatic approach.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Dutch preferred.

• Gather requirements for new functionalities and communicate them to the Scrum team clearly.
• Translate business requirements into actionable user stories.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, project teams and suppliers to plan incoming work.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO

• Gather requirements for new functionalities and clearly communicate them to the wider Scrum team.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable user stories.
• Work closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, project teams and suppliers to understand, prioritise and plan incoming work.
• Support change risk assessments, security issues and incoming tickets related to BMS applications.
• Take an active role in managing and coordinating changes across building management projects.

AN IDEAL PROFILE WOULD BE

• At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst or Business Developer within software development for Facility Management or Building Management Systems.
• Experience with BMS-related domains such as HVAC, lighting, security cameras, networking, cooling and air conditioning, or physical building access.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering and working within Agile and DevOps environments.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, combined with attention to detail, critical thinking and a pragmatic approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Dutch is preferred, with strong listening, adaptability, cultural awareness and stakeholder management skills.
