Job summary

A leading spirits manufacturer in Amsterdam is seeking a Business Controller to join their team. Qualifications

Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics and business economics, business administration, register controller (“RC”) or equivalent.
At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience, of which at least 2 years in Business Control.
Fluent in English; Dutch is widely spoken in the office.
Worked in an international environment with teams at other locations.
Excellent skills in Excel.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Act as a sparring partner, providing insights into performance, risks and opportunities.
Support in preparing monthly management reports, including variance analyses on sales, margins and brand investments.
Attend internal review meetings with Brand & Market teams to explain financial implications.
Assist in preparing the budget and periodic forecasts.
Proactively advise stakeholders such as Sales and Marketing.
Perform ad-hoc analyses on financial subjects.
Collaborate closely with various company teams.

At The Lucas Bols Company, we are looking for a Business Controller to join our team. In this role, you’ll act as a business partner to our Brand & Market teams. Your work comprises, amongst others, (monthly) analyses and reporting, periodic budgeting and forecasting and (business) insights. The Lucas Bols Company is a leading global player in the cocktail and spirits market, recognised as one of the oldest Dutch companies still in operation (this year marks our 450 th anniversary). You will be part of the Business Control team and be a critical business partner to the Brand & Market teams. Assist in the preparation of the budget and periodic forecasts.
Proactively advise business stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing and the Board.
Perform ad-hoc analyses on various financial subjects, including business cases.
Collaborate closely with the accounting, reporting & control, supply chain and commercial teams company wide.

Qualifications
