Job summary

Interfood is seeking a technically skilled Data Analyst to join its Business Control team. You will turn complex data into actionable insights, automate recurring reports, and strengthen our Tableau reporting landscape.

• Two years of experience in data analytics, BI, data engineering, or similar production data environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reporting in Tableau or similar BI platform.
• Experience with process automation, data transformation, data pipelines, and data quality controls.
• Ability to translate commercial and operational questions into pragmatic technical solutions.

Job description

At Interfood, data is essential to understanding our trading performance and supporting better commercial decisions. To strengthen our Business Control team, we are looking for a technically skilled and business oriented Data Analyst who can turn complex and fragmented data into reliable, accessible, and actionable information.

You will join a growing data capability within Business Control and work closely with our existing Business Control Data Analyst, Business Controllers, the Analytics & AI team, and IT. Your role will focus on improving operational efficiency, automating recurring processes, strengthening our Tableau reporting landscape, and enabling Business Controllers to make better use of data.

This is a hands on role with direct business impact. By developing sustainable data solutions and improving access to information, you will allow Business Controllers to spend more time on analysis, stakeholder management, and supporting Trade as strategic business partners.

As a Business Control Data Analyst, you:

• Automate and optimize recurring Business Control processes, reports, and analytical workflows, reducing manual work and dependency on complex Excel files.
• Develop, maintain, and improve reliable data pipelines, dashboards, reporting tools, and analytical solutions using Python, SQL, Tableau, and other appropriate technologies.
• Work closely with Business Controllers to understand trading activities, margin drivers, operational processes, and business requirements, translating these into practical data solutions.
• Act as a Tableau Champion within Business Control by developing dashboards, improving visualization standards, supporting users, and enabling effective self-service analytics.
• Improve data accessibility and empower Business Controllers to independently explore information and answer recurring business questions.
• Explore and apply practical AI solutions to improve reporting, analytical workflows, data processing, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the Analytics & AI team and IT to ensure that solutions are aligned with Interfood’s wider data architecture, governance, security, and technology standards.
• Ensure that solutions are scalable, properly tested, documented, maintainable, and transferable across the team.
• Identify new opportunities for automation, efficiency improvement, and better decision support, prioritizing initiatives based on their expected business value.
• Share technical knowledge within Business Control and help strengthen the data capabilities of the wider team.

Experience in finance, trading, supply chain, logistics, pricing, Azure, Databricks, VBA, AI tools, forecasting, or statistical modeling is considered an advantage.

At least two years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or a comparable production data environment.
