Interfood in Eindhoven is seeking an Analytics Engineer to own data products end-to-end, from requirements to production. You will translate business needs into analytics-ready datasets, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization and delivering trusted solutions using SQL, Python and Azure technologies.
As part of Global Data & Analytics, you will build pipelines, ensure data quality, governance, and maintainable data products, while continuously improving processes and sharing
At Interfood, data is a key driver for our business. As an Analytics Engineer at our global Global Headquarters in Eindhoven , you'll own business-facing data products from requirements to production. Working closely with business stakeholders, you'll translate business needs into trusted, analytics-ready datasets, combining strong business understanding with hands-on technical delivery using SQL, Python and modern Azure technologies.
You'll become part of our Global Data & Analytics team: an ambitious and collaborative team where innovation, ownership and continuous improvement are part of everyday work. In this role, you'll collaborate with colleagues across the business, translate business needs into trusted data solutions and contribute to solutions that create real value for our international organization, all while continuing to grow your technical expertise.
As an Analytics Engineer you:
Nice to have
Experience supporting and troubleshooting production data products.
Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum ways of working.
Experience with DBT, Databricks, Spark, or data quality, metadata management and data governance practices is considered a plus.
2–4 years' experience in analytics or data engineering; exposure to the commodity/financial trading industry is a big advantage.
Experience building and maintaining batch data ingestion and transformation pipelines (SQL and Python).
Experience with data modelling and delivering analytics-ready datasets.
Experience working with Azure (or a comparable cloud platform).
Experience gathering business requirements and working directly with stakeholders.
