BDR Thermea Group is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Enterprise Data Analytics team in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. You will translate business challenges into data solutions, build dashboards in Power BI, and collaborate with stakeholders across Europe to drive data-led decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business / data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar field.
• Strong analytical thinking with business understanding.

• Excellent communication skills across international stakeholders.
• Structured and proactive approach; interest in business processes and how data supports them.
• Master's degree in Data Science, Finance, or related field.

Your role

As a Business Analyst in our Enterprise Data Analyticsteam , you work closely with stakeholders across Europe to understand needs, set priorities, and turn them into effective data and reporting solutions. You connect business context with data to ensure the right insightsdrivedecision-making.

You focus on the “why” behind the data–taking ownership of specific domains and acting as a trusted partner who helps teams make smarter use of their data.

This is a mid-level Business Analyst position, ideally suited to someone who already has experience translating business needs into data solutions and is ready to take ownership of projects and business domains. Youdon’tneed to have all the answers from day one, but you should be comfortable engaging stakeholders, driving initiatives forward, and growing into a trusted business partner.

Your team

You’llbe part of ourEnterprise Data Analytics (EDA) teamwithin ourGroupFinance department.The team playsa central rolein improving data maturity across theorganisationand works closely with stakeholders across multiple European operating companies (OpCos) and central teams within the Group.

We collaborate in a pragmatic, agile way – working from a shared backlog, partnering with our Group Data Engineering team, and supporting each other across projects.Depending on the initiative, you may take the lead or support others–always working together to deliver value to the business.

Your key tasks

• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand data needs
• Develop a strong understanding of our business strategy, processes, and systems, and act as an expert on how toanalysethese
• Build clear and user-friendly reports and dashboards in Power BI
• Drive projects and work withDataAnalystsandBI Developersto build data models and deliver data-driven solutions to the business
• Contribute to cross-functional projects, including large-scale data initiatives(such asenterprise data modelling)

Whatyoubring

• 3+ years of experience in business / data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar field
• Strong analytical thinking combined with business understanding
• Experience working with stakeholders to translate needs into practical solutions
• Confidencefacilitatingdiscussions and aligning across international teams
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI
• Strong communicationskills and comfort working with international stakeholders
• A structured, proactive approach, with interest in business processes and how data supports them
• A Master’s degree in Data Science, Finance, or a related field

Nicetohave:

• Experience with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g.Azure Synapse)
• Understanding of key Finance and Accounting concepts and terminology
