Job summary

R2 Global is seeking a Business Systems Analyst in South Holland to own day-to-day business systems, drive improvements, and coordinate IT/ERP initiatives across the European group. This hands-on role sits at the centre of how the business runs its systems.

You will own administration, master data, access management, and monitoring; lead process mapping and Power BI reporting; and provide timely risk and status updates to the European Business Systems function.

Qualifications

• Strong ERP experience is essential.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus, but not required
• Comfortable owning system administration end-to-end, not just supporting it
• Strong process improvement mindset, with experience documenting and refining business processes
• Power BI and reporting/data analysis experience
• Confident communicator, able to escalate clearly and work across a wider European structure
• Fluent Dutch and English

Responsibilities

• Act as the local subject matter expert for business systems, proactively improving system usage and effectiveness
• Own and continuously improve day-to-day system administration, including configuration, master data, access management, and monitoring
• Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve system issues, acting as an escalation point
• Drive documentation of 'as is' and 'to be' business processes related to system usage
• Proactively identify and push forward system optimisation and improvement in collaboration with the business
• Support IT and ERP projects: tracking system-related business requirements, maintaining documentation and decision records, tracking dependencies, and coordinating testing and validation
• Power BI, reporting, data analysis, and process mapping
• Ensure system readiness and process alignment ahead of go-live or change deployment
• Provide clear visibility of risks, constraints, and dependencies related to systems work
• Provide transparent status updates on IT-related activities and constraints
• Proactively surface risks, capacity limitations, or business engagement issues early, with fact-based reporting to the European Business Systems Manager

About the role

We're recruiting on behalf of an established, growing organisation in South Holland, part of a wider international group, for a Business Systems Analyst to take ownership of day-to-day business systems and drive their ongoing improvement.

This is a hands-on role at the centre of how the business runs its systems, combining system ownership, process improvement, and project coordination, with direct visibility to the wider European Business Systems function.

Key responsibilities

Business Systems & IT Ownership

• Act as the local subject matter expert for business systems, proactively improving system usage and effectiveness
• Own and continuously improve day-to-day system administration, including configuration, master data, access management, and monitoring
• Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve system issues, acting as an escalation point
• Ensure systems remain optimised, stable, and aligned to business needs

Process Improvement

• Drive documentation of "as is" and "to be" business processes related to system usage
• Proactively identify and push forward system optimisation and improvement in collaboration with the business
• Challenge and refine system processes to ensure they're efficient and fit for day-to-day operational needs

Project Coordination & Support (IT and ERP Focus)

• Support IT and ERP projects: tracking system-related business requirements, maintaining documentation and decision records, tracking dependencies, and coordinating testing and validation
