Job description

One of the Netherlands' best-known consumer organisations is deep into its digital transformation. Millions of customers, a brand almost everyone recognises — and a front-end platform moving from legacy to future-fit. Within the transformation programme, the front-end value stream is shipping a new group-wide front-end and a personal "My environment", all supported by a new back-end architecture, CRM & CMS. We're looking for a Business Analyst to work out the detailing of the roadmap into process flows and detailed requirements — working closely with the Product Owners, translating a roadmap into work the team can actually deliver.

What You'll Do
  • Work the roadmap detail within the front-end value stream — turning scope complexity into a clear action plan and user stories.
  • Work out the requirements engineering can actually build from: user stories, tasks and acceptance criteria.
  • Model the processes: visualise complex flows in diagrams (BPMN or wireframes) so both business and developers understand them.
  • Break scope complexity into bite-sized pieces the team can move on — from ambiguity to detail: "here's the plan".
What You Bring
  • Proven BA experience in complex, digital environments — you've owned backlog items and requirements, not just written them down.
  • Experience translating business requirements, needs and wants into clear solutions.
  • You are structured — the "blue" end of the spectrum, and proud of it. You reach for a process map when things get fuzzy.
  • Strong at requirements mapping and writing product requirement documents that hold up under pressure.
  • Comfortable working across the seams — Business, IT/Digital, front-end, back-end, CRM and CMS — where the real complexity lives.
  • A talent for making complexity manageable: taking on the scope-heavy work others would rather avoid and turning it into something deliverable.
  • Comfortable navigating a matrix organisation with distributed delivery teams.
  • Fluent in Dutch, spoken and written — a strong plus.
Practical Details
  • Based in Amsterdam, with room for hybrid working.

Let's be honest: this is an hands-on BA/PA role. No reinventing the discipline, no framework theatre — just the structured, detail-obsessed work that keeps a complex transformation from falling over. The scope complexity everyone else would rather not touch. If that's your happy place, we should talk.
