Job summary

Gazelle Global is seeking a Business Analyst/Business Developer for a digital transformation programme in the Netherlands. The role focuses on document automation (Doc2Data) and improving digital services for customers and advisors within a regulated financial services context.

You will translate business and regulatory requirements into IT solutions, work in a multidisciplinary Agile team and help shape a new technical domain around document processing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst/Developer/Engineer or similar role.
• Experience in Agile IT / software development environments.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into IT solutions.
• Strong requirements gathering and backlog management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Technical mindset with business and IT perspective understanding.
• Exposure to banking/financial services or regulated environments is beneficial.
• Fluent Dutch is essential.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and backlog items.

Business Analyst / Business Developer - Digital & Document Automation

Location: Amersfoort, Netherlands - Hybrid

Contract: Until February 2027, with potential extension

Hours: 36 hours per week

Start: ASAP / September 2026

We are supporting a leading financial services organisation in the Netherlands with the appointment of an experienced Business Analyst, Business Developer, Business Engineer to join a digital transformation programme.

The role will focus on improving digital services for customers and advisors, with a particular focus on document automation and Doc2Data solutions. You will help shape a new technical domain focused on converting documents, such as payslips and other financial documentation, into structured data that can be consumed by internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business needs, customer requirements and regulatory requirements into clear business requirements, user stories and backlog items.

• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers and other stakeholders within a multidisciplinary Agile environment.

• Support the design and delivery of Doc2Data / document processing and automation solutions.

• Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of customer, employee and backend platforms.

• Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities for digitalisation, automation and improved customer experience.

• Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are translated into practical system and process changes.

• Support delivery against sprint objectives and Agile development roadmaps.

Required Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Business Developer, Business Engineer or similar role.

• Strong experience working within Agile IT / software development environments.

• Experience translating complex business requirements into technical requirements and IT solutions.

• Strong requirements gathering, user story creation and backlog management experience.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• A technical mindset with the ability to understand both business and IT perspectives.

• Experience within banking, mortgages, financial services or regulated environments would be highly beneficial.

• Experience with document processing, document automation, OCR, data extraction or Doc2Data solutions would be advantageous.

• HBO/WO degree or equivalent, ideally within Business, Economics, IT or a related discipline.

• Excellent/fluent Dutch is essential.
