Hotelprofessionals - Room Mate Bruno in Rotterdam is seeking an experienced Breakfast Chef to ensure guests start their day with a great meal. Tasks include overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring a fresh breakfast buffet.

The ideal candidate will have experience, a cheerful attitude, and creativity. The position offers a part-time contract with various benefits including travel allowance and vacation days.

Qualifications

• You have experience as an independently working chef.
• You bring a bright and cheerful attitude to the kitchen.
• You ideally live a short bike ride from the hotel.
• You're flexible and can work at least one weekend day.
• You love experimenting with new culinary ideas.
• You're confident and ready to take charge when needed.
• Knowledge of hygiene and food safety, HACCP certified preferred.

Right now, I’m on the hunt for the happiest Breakfast Chef to make sure all my travelers start their day off right with a smile and a great meal!

Responsibilities

• Master smooth morning operations, delicious banqueting breaks, and tasty staff lunches.
• Oversee daily operations of the kitchen.
• Ensure the breakfast buffet is always fresh.
• Stay up to date with the latest food trends and innovate as needed.
• Keep an eye on the breakfast budget to ensure cost control.
• Prepare and improve menus for banqueting breaks.
• Coordinate with F&B supervisors to keep everything running smoothly.
• Provide delicious and nutritious lunches for staff.

Schedule

Fixed schedule with no evening shifts. Work hours are between 05:30 and 15:00.

• Experienced Cook: You already have experience as an independently working chef.
