Job summary

MindWalk Holdings Corp. is seeking a General Manager to lead its North America site with ~30 FTEs, owning P&L and the delivery performance across multiple service lines.

The role drives growth, operational excellence, and the strategic use of AI and LLM tools to improve reporting and decision-making. The position reports to the CEO and CFO, offering a competitive CAD salary, equity, and full benefits including relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in biology/biotech/business/finance or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive management with P&L ownership and budgeting.
• 5+ years in CRO/CDMO or fee-for-service biologics R&D with non-GMP ops.
• 8+ years leading senior teams and managers.
• Experience adopting AI/LLM tools and software rollouts.

Responsibilities

• Own the Canada site P&L, budget, forecast, margins and change orders.
• Grow revenue year over year with the executive team.
• Lead quarterly business reviews with CEO and CFO; drive action on revenue and delivery.
• Set operating metrics for expenses, bookings, backlog, capacity and cash collection.
• Standardize client project delivery, milestones, and governance.
• Apply new tech to raise utilization and shorten timelines.
• Lead escalations and ensure corrective actions are closed.
• Oversee Animal Care program and CCAC guidelines.
• Identify AI/LLM use cases to streamline reporting and workflows.
• Negotiate and manage site agreements; licenses and royalties.
