Zusammenfassung

Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu (RIVM) zoekt een bioinformaticus voor 36 uur per week in Bilthoven. Je analyseert grote immunologie- en multi-omics datasets om virusinfecties en vaccins te ontrafelen en bij te dragen aan pandemiebereidheid.

Je werkt met state-of-the-art sequencing en analytische tools, ontwikkelt pipelines en levert inzichten voor public health besluitvorming en toekomstige vaccinstrategieën. Ervaring met scRNA-seq, CITE-seq en TCR-seq is een plus.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, Computational Biology or a related field with publication track in immunology or infectious diseases.
• Advanced proficiency in R or Python enabling pipelines and large omics data handling.
• Responsible for organising, processing and analysing large omics datasets following FAIR practices.
• Analytical mindset connecting omics results with clinical data and providing insights.
• Structured and adaptable working style to coordinate with multiple project leaders.

Aufgaben

• Analyze immunology and multi-omics datasets to understand immune responses to infection and vaccination.
• Design or adapt computational pipelines for transcriptomics, scRNA-seq, CITE-seq and scTCR-seq analyses.
• Perform robust statistical analyses and visualize results for publications and reports.
• Collaborate with the data team to implement best practices for data analysis and FAIR data management.
