Job summary

Winthrop Technologies is seeking a BIM Team Lead to join the team at our project in Amsterdam. The role requires managing BIM delivery across the project and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate should have over 8 years of experience in large projects, with required expertise in Revit (MEP bias) and strong organizational and communication skills. This is a fully site-based position, offering candidates the opportunity to work on multiple international projects.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for BIM delivery across the project.
• Engage with site team, subcontractors, and client to follow BIM procedures.
• Manage team of BIM Coordinators and Technicians.
• Liaise with package managers and site engineers for MEP installations.
• Provide support to junior BIM team members.
• Manage coordination issues between disciplines.
• Production of drawings and specifications according to BIM Execution plan.

We are pleased to announce we are currently recruiting for a BIM Team Lead role to join our expanding team at our project in Amsterdam. The role will be fully site-based.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for BIM delivery across theproject.
• Engage with the WTL site team, subcontractors, and client to ensure the standard WTL BIM procedures are being followed.
• Manage theteam of BIM Coordinators and Technicians to deliver on BIM requirements.
• Liaise with package managers and site engineers to coordinate complex MEP installations.
• Provide support to junior BIM team members and site team.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives related to BIM technologies and new processes.
• Manage and resolve clashes and coordination issues between disciplines.
• Production of drawings, specifications, and schedules, according to the project BIM Execution plan.

Qualifications

• Previous Revit experience – MEP bias required
• AutoCAD experience preferred
• Navisworks experience desired
• 8+ years’ experience working on multiple large projects
• Relevant Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar
• Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills
