Job summary

Confidential client near Rotterdam is seeking a precise Customer Order Manager to bridge sales, customer service, and a technical laboratory environment in a fully office-based role.

The job requires fluent Dutch and English, an MBO level administration background, and experience with ERP or data systems. You will handle order intake, confirmation, discrepancy resolution, and sample intake while maintaining strict accuracy and timely communication.

Qualifications

• Professional-level Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• MBO-level background in administration or similar.
• Experience with ERP or data management systems is a plus.
• Strong investigative mindset for discrepancies and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming client orders and samples, validate details and register in the lab system.
• Assign each order to the correct laboratory department with timelines and parameters.
• Ensure information is complete and correct before samples move to the lab.
• Issue order confirmations to clients and coordinate with sales and customer service to prevent delays.
• Identify and resolve mismatches between client requests and received data; contact clients or colleagues as needed.
• Assist with physical intake of samples, including unpacking and sorting with lab and logistics staff.
