Job summary

Qabird is seeking an experienced BI Engineer to join the Data & Analytics team in the Netherlands. You will own end-to-end Power BI solutions, design semantic models, and advance our Microsoft Fabric platform with strong governance and security practices.

You will translate business requirements into scalable data products, mentor users, manage stakeholders, and drive adoption of centralized BI standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in BI/Power BI roles.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, semantic and dimensional modelling.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced DAX.
• Experience designing dashboards and self-service BI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analytical requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
• Maintain and improve Power BI models and dashboards, aligning with Microsoft Fabric standards.
• Migrate or integrate SAP BO to Power BI/Fabric where needed.
• Design semantic models, manage workspaces, deployment pipelines, and access controls.
• Mentor users on Power BI best practices and contribute to BI governance and CI/CD processes.
