Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Dordrecht is seeking a Technical Specialist – BESS to provide technical support and manage after-sales service for Battery Energy Storage Systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least 5 years of experience in energy production, alongside excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of work experience in the technical sector, specifically energy production systems.
• In-depth knowledge of diesel and/or gas engines and cogeneration systems.
• Possession of VCA and other safety certificates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support remotely to field service teams.
• Manage after-sales service activities and site visits.
• Plan technical support resources for BESS projects.
• Oversee maintenance contracts and customer engagement.
• Support after-sales commercial activities and supplier coordination.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and R&D teams.

Technical / Electrical expertise
