Acre is partnering with a fast-growing player in the renewable energy sector, specializing in advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and smart Energy Management Software (EMS). Combining cutting‑edge technology with hands‑on expertise, they support customers from system design and installation to monitoring, maintenance, and optimization. They are currently looking for a Dutch‑speaking Field Service Engineer to join the team and support the growth of their smart battery system solutions. In this role, you will work hands‑on with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), ensuring reliable installation, maintenance, and performance at customer sites across the Netherlands.
- Install and commission BESS installations at customer locations
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on-site and remotely
- Collaborate closely with technical and software teams to resolve complex challenges
- Provide feedback from the field to improve products and processes
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety and quality standards
- Fluent in Dutch (required) and comfortable communicating in English
- Technical background in electrical engineering, energy systems, or similar
- Experience with installation, maintenance, or service engineering (experience with BESS is a plus)
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a hands‑on mindset
- Willingness to travel within the Utrecht region and occasionally beyond
- Valid driver's license
