Job summary

abbGrowers B.V. is seeking a dedicated Quality Employee to safeguard the quality of our blueberries from packing to delivery.

You will perform checks, analyse results, and ensure every batch meets strict standards, collaborating with production, sourcing and logistics teams to uphold food safety and product quality. Qualifications

• MBO-level vocational education in food, fresh produce or quality.
• Affinity with fresh products and quality control.
• Good command of Dutch and English; Polish is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a positive mindset.
• Flexibility in working hours (including Saturdays).
• Proactive attitude and focus on improvement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming and outgoing batches of berries and record findings.
• Conduct visual and physical quality checks during packing.
• Take samples, perform shelf-life tests and report results.
• Monitor hygiene and food safety standards in production.
• Identify deviations and follow up with corrective actions.
• Suggest improvements and process optimisations.
• Operate with AI-driven sorting machines and digital inspection systems.
