Job summary

VERSADO Personeelsdiensten is seeking an Inspector for a leading soft fruit packing facility in the Netherlands. You will perform quality control on incoming and produced fruit and vegetables, conduct inspections, take samples, and ensure products meet customer specifications.

The role requires mbo level education with P-modules, 3 years of relevant experience in fresh produce or food, HACCP knowledge, and fluent Dutch and English. Independent, precise, and able to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational education (mbo), supplemented with P-modules is a plus.
• 3 years of experience in a similar role (inspector, quality controller in fresh produce or food).
• Extensive product knowledge and insight into work processes, as well as knowledge of HACCP guidelines.
• Strong verbal and written skills in both Dutch and English.
• Independent, results-oriented, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and sampling delivered batches of fruit
• Carrying out checks on incoming products; including reading temperature and CO2 measurements
• Inspecting incoming goods for correct labeling
• Independently carrying out inspections and informing various parties about the findings of the inspections
• Maintaining contact with the KCB and supervising inspections

As an Inspector, you are responsible for the quality control of incoming and produced batches of fruit and vegetables. You carry out inspections, take samples, and ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards according to customer specifications. You check labels, temperature, and CO2 values, and supervise the KCB inspection.
