Job summary

Durabel Recruitment B.V. is seeking a motivated quality control employee in Horst, Netherlands, for their blueberry sorting and packaging operations. You will ensure the quality of incoming and outgoing batches while working in a modern, refrigerated environment using advanced sorting machines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for various quality control tasks including checking batches, performing quality checks, and identifying areas for improvement. The role requires a minimum vocational education and a good command of Dutch and English.

In a modern, refrigerated working environment, you will work with advanced sorting machines to guarantee top quality.

What do we offer

• A gross hourly wage between €16.64 and €19.41 depending on experience;
• 25% bonus for evening shifts (7 p.m. – 11 p.m.);
• Variable working hours from 06:00 – 14:00 or 11:45 – 20:00, sometimes until 23:00 during peak season;
• Travel allowance;
• Prospect of a permanent contract;

What will you do

As a quality control officer, you are responsible for the quality of incoming and outgoing batches of blueberries. You will work closely with production, logistics and sourcing teams to ensure that everything meets our high quality standards. Your duties will include:

• Checking and registering batches in the quality registration system;
• Performing visual and physical quality checks;
• Taking samples and performing shelf life tests;
• Monitoring hygiene in the workplace;
• Identifying deviations and areas for improvement;
• Working with AI‑controlled sorting machines.
