Job summary

TOMRA invites applications for a Field Service Engineer covering the Benelux region. This home-based role requires frequent travel to customer sites across the Netherlands and Flemish Belgium, with optional assignments elsewhere in Europe.

You will commission, service, and troubleshoot TOMRA Recycling systems, and deliver training and support to customers. Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree or equivalent certification, speak English well, and are comfortable with 80% travel.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Professional proficiency in English; Dutch/Flemish is an asset.
• Degree or technician qualification with hands-on experience in a technical field.
• Proven troubleshooting capabilities with a solution-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel extensively across NL, Belgium, Germany and beyond.
• Eligible to work legally in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities including commissioning, start-up, testing, integration, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of TOMRA systems.
• Prepare detailed service reports after installations or interventions for knowledge sharing.
• Ensure timely reporting of activities and expenses; documentations.
• Deliver on-site training to customer maintenance teams and internal staff.
• Provide technical support via phone and on-site; collaborate with Sales and Project Management.
