Job summary

TOMRA is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Benelux region (Netherlands & Flanders). This home-based role covers the Netherlands and the Flemish region of Belgium, with frequent travel to customer sites.

You will commission, start-up, test, integrate, maintain and repair TOMRA Recycling systems, deliver on-site training, produce detailed service reports, and collaborate closely with Sales and Project Management to ensure high system availability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electro-Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Technician certification with hands-on experience acceptable.
• Proven problem-solving and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities including commissioning and maintenance of TOMRA systems across Benelux.
• Prepare detailed service reports and ensure knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Provide on-site training to customer teams and internal Service Engineers.
• Deliver technical support via phone and respond to customer and equipment-related issues in the field.
• Collaborate with Sales and Project Management to support deployments.
• Ensure high performance and reliability of TOMRA sorting systems.
• Travel extensively across NL, BE and DE to support customers on-site (approx. 80%).
