Zusammenfassung

SmartSD is a dynamic Netherlands-based company seeking an HR Advisor to own day-to-day HR matters for Belgium while supporting an international team. You will handle onboarding and offboarding, coordinate payroll input, and support benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws and internal policies.

You’ll drive recruitment activities, maintain HR data, manage absences, and assist with GDPR.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• Experience in a similar HR role, ideally in Belgium.
• Fluent Dutch (written and spoken) and good command of French or Spanish (minimum B2) and English.
• Rigorous, well-organized, and reliable with confidential information.
• Proactive, autonomous and responsible.
• Willing to work in a multicultural international environment.
• Knowledge of an HRIS or payroll tool is a plus.

Aufgaben

• HR administration and payroll: onboarding/offboarding, payroll input, liaise with providers, benefits administration, payslip checks.
• Recruitment: publish vacancies, screen candidates, organize interviews, support hiring managers.
• Employee support and compliance: HR data maintenance, absence approvals, GDPR support, labor law monitoring.
• Health and safety administration and sickness absence follow-up.
• Internal initiatives: organize events, team-building, gifts, newsletters.
• International HR collaboration and back-up to colleagues as needed.
