Job summary

Park Centraal Amsterdam is looking for a friendly Bartender to join Bar Claes, the welcoming face of our lobby experience. You will serve drinks and small bites with a smile while engaging guests and helping to create a memorable stay.

We value hands-on hospitality, strong English communication, and the ability to adapt to different shifts. You’ll work in a vibrant, diverse team and support other F&B outlets when needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in F&B or a similar role.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Hands-on mentality with flexibility to work different shifts.
• Strong hospitality and guest-connection mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve drinks and snacks to hotel guests in the lobby and at the bar.
• Chat with guests with a friendly, upbeat attitude to ensure a great stay.
• Be flexible in assisting other F&B outlets as needed.
• Help make hotel events a success when they take place.

As our Bartender at Park Centraal Amsterdam, you are the face of Bar Claes and first point of contact for our guests who walk into the hotel, having a coffee in our lobby or enjoying a cocktail. To provide everyone a cozy and enjoyable time, we are looking for a sparkly and genuine F&B professional who always provides heartfelt service with a big smile!

This is what you're going to do

• You will serve drinks & snacks to our hotel guests in the lobby and at the bar;
• With a big smile, you will hop around the hotel to chat with our hotel guests and make sure they are having the best stay;
• You will be flexible in assisting any other F&B outlet;
• When events take place in the hotel you will be happy to help making this a success.

To succeed in this role, we believe you should have been working as an F&B professional or in a similar role for at least one year. You have excellent command of English in word and writing. You have a hands‑on mentality; you are flexible in working different shifts and love to have a chat with our guests. It goes without saying that you have an affinity with hospitality, you are a natural and creative professional with good communication skills and know how to connect with different people and cultures. You are not afraid to make mistakes and would like to work in a young, ambitious and dynamic team.
