Job summary

BaxterStorey in Amsterdam is seeking a Barista to greet customers with a friendly and professional manner, and to deliver joyful coffee experiences.

You'll work 32–38 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with meals on shift, training and development opportunities, and a commuting allowance or bike lease. We value inclusion and career growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Understanding of HACCP or food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare and serve coffee beverages and other drinks to standard.
• Provide menu recommendations and be aware of allergen procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and surrounding area.
• Follow health, safety and food safety guidelines and procedures.
• Monitor stock and restock as needed.
• Handle payments using till systems.
• Resolve customer issues or complaints effectively.
• Support team with other tasks as needed.
