Job summary

BaxterStorey Nederland is seeking a Barista in Amsterdam city centre to greet customers warmly and craft a range of coffee beverages. You will work the 30-hour week (Mon-Thu) in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy, allergen awareness, and a spotless station that adheres to HACCP and safety standards.

You’ll share menu knowledge, upsell thoughtfully, and contribute to a collaborative team with ongoing training and development.

Responsibilities

• Delight our customers by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner.
• Efficiently prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas and other drinks to our standards.
• Share the menu story and provide recommendations, while following allergen procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and surrounding areas according to schedules and HACCP standards.
• Follow all health, safety and food safety guidelines and procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and restock supplies as needed.
• Use till systems for taking payments and customer orders.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues or complaints.

Gross salary: EUR 2511,89 - 2778 gross per month based on 38 hours and excluding holiday allowance

Job Description

• Share the story of our menu, and provide recommendations to customers and be aware allergen procedures
• The pride in your workspace, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and other surrounding areas in line with cleaning schedules, company and HACCP standards
• Follow all health and safety and food safety guidelines and procedures

• Be a part of the team assisting on other tasks as needed
