Job summary

Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre in Amsterdam is seeking a Banqueting Operations Supervisor to coordinate conferences, events and meetings for guests from around the world. You will work with a team to ensure smooth setup, service, and guest satisfaction in a bustling hotel environment.

You’ll lead shifts, train staff, and manage both guest interaction and room preparation, helping create exceptional experiences for clients and attendees at the heart of Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Background in hospitality or events.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train employees.
• Prepare and/or clean meeting rooms.
• Welcome guests and ensure high service.
• Adjust rooms during or before use.
• Provide correct information about drinks and dishes and serve them properly.
• Take drink orders and engage with guests about their visit to Amsterdam.
