The Amsterdam Marriott Hotel is hiring a passionate banquet server to join our dynamic team in the city center. You will prepare coffee breaks, stations, and service carts, communicate dietary needs to the kitchen, and ensure flawless presentation during events.

We value guest-focused service in a fast-paced, international environment. Dutch and English fluency, flexible shifts, and relevant experience are preferred.

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic colleague Do you want to work in a dynamic work environment in the center of Amsterdam and are you interested in a position at the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel

With its many museums peaceful canals and 17th-century architecture Amsterdam charms every visitor In the midst of this splendid city youll find the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel Our luxury hotel located across from Leidsepleins fine dining shopping and entertainment is a 5-minute walk to many attractions including the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum In the morning visit the Vondelpark for a relaxing walk or run or go to our on-site 24-hour health club for a great workout

What are your responsibilities

• Prepare coffee breaks carts and stations with appropriate food and beverages as stated in Banquet Event Order
• Prepare tables action stations buffets service carts dessert tablecarts and cordial carts
• Communicate additional meal requirements allergies dietary needs and special requests to the kitchen
• Ensure courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbed
• Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements
• Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation
• Monitor tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas
• Bus tables by removing and separating tableware plateware glassware and flatware
• Making sure the banqueting rooms are correctly set up and fulfil all the wishes of our guests

To be eligible for this position you

• have relevant work experience
• speak Dutch andor English fluently
• are friendly and have an open posture
• can deliver a high level of service
• are stress resistant
• are able and flexible to work different shifts

What does my contract look like

• Start as soon as possible
• Full-time contract of 38 hours per week
• One month probation time
