Job summary

Amsterdam Marriott Hotel is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure pristine rooms and public areas. You will manage room statuses, prioritize cleaning, and liaise across Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to resolve issues.

The role requires initiative, reliability and flexibility to work varying shifts; fluency in Dutch and/or English is valued. Join a team focused on outstanding guest experiences in central Amsterdam.

What are your responsibilities?

Join our team as a detail-oriented and collaborative Housekeeping Supervisor. Your role will involve inspecting guest rooms and public areas, ensuring cleanliness meets our high standards. You'll run sold room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning, and update departing guest room statuses. Act as a liaison, coordinating efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms, communicate changes in assignment sheets, and assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating employees. Strong communication skills, paperwork accuracy, and the ability to work with various departments are vital. Join us in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
