Job summary

Digital Green B.V. in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help build a scalable security platform that identifies, analyses and prioritises digital risks and vulnerabilities.

You will build scalable backend services with Go, Python or C#, work with distributed systems and event-driven architectures, and contribute to architecture and security decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Experience with Go, Python or C#.
• Familiar with distributed systems and PostgreSQL.

What will you do?

• Build scalable, high-performance backend services for a cybersecurity platform
• Develop systems that analyse digital environments and identify potential security vulnerabilities
• Work with event-driven and distributed architectures
• Build automated security functionality and AI-driven capabilities
• Process large volumes of security and reconnaissance data at scale
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions
• Solve complex performance, scalability and security challenges

What do you bring?

• 4+ years of experience in backend engineering
• Strong experience with Go, Python, C# or similar
• Experience with distributed systems
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or Kafka is a plus
• Interest in areas such as application security, offensive security or threat detection
• Strong problem-solving skills and an architectural mindset
