Job summary

ITProposal seeks a senior Azure DevOps Platform Specialist to professionalize and restructure an existing Azure DevOps environment in The Hague. The role emphasizes governance, security, CI/CD standardization, automation, and migration to a new Azure environment.

Responsibilities include improving pipelines, enforcing policies, and coaching teams through workshops while delivering comprehensive documentation and best practices. Working hours: 36 per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Azure DevOps experience including setup and configuration.
• Experience translating IT policies into technical implementations and managing stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SAST/SCA integration into Azure DevOps pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve the existing Azure DevOps setup including repos, pipelines, and security.
• Develop governance, policies, guardrails, and branching strategies.
• Design standardized YAML-based CI/CD pipelines and reusable templates.
• Integrate security controls such as SAST, SCA, quality gates, and compliance checks.
• Optimize and automate self-hosted agent pools and image management.
• Support migration of the Azure DevOps environment between Azure subscriptions.
• Coach teams through workshops and knowledge transfer.
• Create documentation and support adoption of new DevOps practices.
