Job summary

ITProposal in Amsterdam, Netherlands, seeks an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep/ARM), CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices. Dutch fluency is mandatory due to stakeholder interaction and documentation requirements.

You will design, deploy, and operate Azure environments using modular IaC patterns, build end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, integrate security and compliance gates, and ensure production

Qualifications

• Fluent Dutch (speaking, reading, writing).
• 4–6 years of experience in Azure engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on with Bicep, ARM and IaC patterns.
• Proven experience building Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating security and compliance into CI/CD workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting across build, release, deployment, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate Azure cloud infrastructure using Bicep (ARM-based IaC) with modular patterns.
• Build and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Implement IaC lifecycle management including validation, testing, and controlled releases.
• Drive DevOps and DevSecOps practices: automation, version control, environment standardization.
• Ensure security, reliability, and scalability of Azure solutions.
• Integrate security, compliance, and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and operational best practices for production workloads.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to improve platform maturity.
• Troubleshoot build, release, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
