Job summary

Itproposal is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer in Amsterdam to design, deploy, and operate Azure environments using Bicep/ARM IaC. You will build end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and integrate DevSecOps practices.

The role requires 4–6 years in Azure/DevOps, hands-on IaC experience, security integration, and strong troubleshooting. Dutch fluency is mandatory for stakeholder interaction and documentation.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in Azure engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Bicep and ARM.
• Proven experience building Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps, automation, and environment standardization.
• Experience integrating security and compliance into CI/CD workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across build, release, deployment, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and operational excellence for Azure workloads.
• Dutch fluency is mandatory for interaction and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate Azure cloud infrastructure using Bicep (ARM-based IaC).
• Build and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and app deployments.
• Implement IaC lifecycle management including validation, testing, and controlled releases.
• Drive DevOps and DevSecOps practices: automation, version control, environment standardization.
• Ensure Azure solutions meet security, reliability, and scalability requirements.
• Integrate security, compliance, and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and operational excellence for production workloads.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to improve platform maturity.
• Troubleshoot build, release, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
