Job summary

Gazelle Global is seeking an AWS Cloud Security Specialist for a position based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The role focuses on assessing and enhancing security across cloud services and platforms, supporting cloud governance, and securing cloud-native deployments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on AWS experience, knowledge of cloud security posture management, and experience with AI systems such as Bedrock and SageMaker. Collaboration with engineering teams to mitigate risks is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security or related field.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Experience securing AI systems (Bedrock, SageMaker).
• Experience with cloud security architecture.
• Strong analytical and risk assessment mindset.
• Experience with container, API, and CI/CD security.
• Python scripting in AWS Lambda.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead Cloud Security meetups with AWS workload teams.
• Provide Cloud Security design advice for new AWS workloads.
• Perform security architecture review of SaaS platforms and AWS services.
• Assist with Cloud Security compliance assessments.
• Provide operational cloud security advisory for workloads and AWS cloud teams.
• Assist with cloud threat modeling exercises to identify security risks and recommend mitigating controls.
• Partner with engineering and platform teams to address vulnerabilities and security gaps.
• Support Cloud Security Posture Management initiatives and review findings to improve cloud visibility and governance.
