Job summary

Levy Global is seeking a Cloud Security Specialist to join its security team and scale its AWS footprint. This hands-on advisory role intersects cloud engineering and risk, shaping secure workload builds from the ground up, including AI workloads like Bedrock and SageMaker.

You will advise on threat modeling, architecture reviews, and cloud governance while collaborating with engineering and risk teams to improve security posture and visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud security architecture.
• Experience securing AI systems such as Bedrock and SageMaker.
• Experience with container, API, and CI/CD pipeline security.
• Python scripting experience in an AWS environment (Lambda).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead cloud security meetups with AWS workload teams to share knowledge and best practices.
• Provide cloud security design advice for new AWS workloads and SaaS platforms.
• Perform security architecture reviews of solution intents for AWS services and SaaS platforms.
• Run threat modeling exercises to identify security risks and recommend mitigating controls.
• Partner with engineering and platform teams to close identified vulnerabilities and security gaps.
• Support cloud security compliance assessments and Cloud Security Posture Management initiatives to improve visibility and governance.

Cloud Security Specialist | AWS & AI Security |

We are looking for a Cloud Security Specialist to join the security team of a large, established organization that is scaling its footprint on AWS. This is a hands-on advisory role at the intersection of cloud engineering and risk, where you will shape how new workloads, SaaS platforms, and AI services get built securely from the ground up.

You will work closely with engineering, architecture, and risk teams on threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and cloud governance, with real exposure to securing modern AI workloads such as Bedrock and SageMaker. If you enjoy being the trusted security voice in the room rather than a gatekeeper, this role gives you real influence over how cloud security is done.

About the role

As Cloud Security Specialist, you will act as a trusted advisor to AWS workload teams, helping them design and build secure, well-governed cloud environments. You will split your time between hands-on architecture reviews, threat modeling, and broader cloud security governance work.
