Job summary

Swissport International AG is seeking a Lounge Agent to handle reception, arrivals, and lounge check-ins. You will support customers through the check-in process and coordinate with teams to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, a strong customer-service mindset, and excellent communication skills in the local language. Multilingual abilities are a plus, and willingness to work varying shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Passionate about customer service with relevant work experience.
• Experience as a passenger agent or in aviation is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in the country language.
• Additional languages desired (French for Quebec locations).
• Commitment to continuous improvement and independence.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist passengers at the lounge reception and during arrivals.
• Manage check-in processes and ensure smooth passenger flow.
• Explain procedures and resolve issues related to shipments and customs when needed.
• Coordinate with customs and other teams to ensure compliant handling.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and ISO/ISAGO standards.
• Adapt to varying shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Support on-site customer service and document processing as required.
