Job summary

VILS, part of Masco Group, is seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager in the Netherlands to lead complex EPC/EPCM lab and cleanroom projects from concept to completion, ensuring scope, budget, schedule and quality.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, build contractor networks in the Netherlands and contribute to commercial opportunities through proposals, tenders and negotiations, while maintaining high standards of safety and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven EPC/EPCM project management experience in Life Sciences.
• Strong technical understanding of cleanrooms, HVAC, process equipment or utilities.
• Established network of contractors and suppliers in the Netherlands.
• Commercial mindset, leadership and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Willing to travel to client and project sites.
• Independent freelance professional (ZZP’er).

Responsibilities

• Lead EPC/EPCM projects from concept through engineering, construction and handover.
• Manage schedules, budgets, risks and multidisciplinary teams.
• Build and maintain a network of contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in the Netherlands.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers throughout project execution.
• Contribute to EPC/EPCM proposals, tenders, cost estimates and contract negotiations.
• Define project execution strategies and support the sales team.
• Support VILS' growth in the Dutch Life Sciences market.
