DAF Trucks N.V. in Eindhoven is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer | Automotive to design and implement embedded software for vehicle and engine control units.

You will work in a multidisciplinary, international team using Agile methodologies to deliver next-generation software for world-class commercial vehicles. You will collaborate across the full lifecycle, applying model-based development with MATLAB/Simulink, and contribute to continuous improvement in tools, quality, and processes.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• At least 3 years of professional embedded software engineering experience.
• Proven experience with C/C++ and Model-Based Development (MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow).
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR, ASW, and CAN communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software for vehicle and engine control units.
• Collaborate in Agile Scrum teams with architects, testers, and system engineers.
• Work with model-based development environments to power automotive software.
• Participate across full development lifecycle from requirements to validation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development tools and processes.
