DAF Trucks N.V. in Eindhoven is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer | Automotive to design and implement embedded software for vehicle and engine control units.

You will work in a multidisciplinary, international team using Agile methodologies to deliver next-generation software for world-class commercial vehicles. You will collaborate across the full lifecycle, applying model-based development with MATLAB/Simulink, and contribute to continuous improvement in tools, quality, and processes.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• At least 3 years of professional embedded software engineering experience.
• Proven experience with C/C++ and Model-Based Development (MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow).
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR, ASW, and CAN communication.

As an Embedded Software Engineer | Automotive, you join the Application Software Department in Eindhoven, collaborating with teams in India and the USA. You work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary Agile environment with over 180 engineers to design, build, and test next-generation vehicle software.

• Develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software for vehicle and engine control units.
• Collaborate in Agile Scrum teams alongside software architects, testers, and system engineers.
• Work with advanced model-based development environments to power global automotive brands.
• Participate across the full development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to software validation.

You are successful if:
